Our mission centres around Micah 6:8: "act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God." This is the major focus for all our ministries.

We are an open ‘evangelical’ church in theology with a concern for the poor, the marginalised and suffering in the world community. We are affiliated with the Baptist Union of Victoria but we are also a self-governing faith community. All key decisions are made by our members in church meetings.

Our Purpose

Spirituality

WALK HUMBLY

as we invite people to experience a deep connection with Jesus.

Mission

DO JUSTICE

as we share the good news of God's Kingdom of redeeming and liberating grace .

Community

LOVE TENDERLY

as we experience and extend friendship, embodying God's love in the world .

Our Values

VALUE:

Authentic Relationships

that Transform

Why it Matters

It is only in relationships with God and one another that we become fully human. By prioritizing authentic relationships, we create a ripple effect that goes beyond the boundaries of our church, leaving a lasting impact on the community and world around us.

VALUE:

Faith that Endures

Why it Matters

Enduring faith encourages individuals to persevere and find purpose and hope in the midst of life's most challenging moments. This enduring faith becomes a cornerstone for personal growth, community support, and a commitment to creating a more just and compassionate world.

VALUE:

Boldness in the Spirit

Why it Matters

God is always ahead of us, opening up streams of living water in the middle of the deserts of our lives. Bold openness embodies a courageous approach to seeking and welcoming the newness of God. Of being radically open to the leading of the Spirit and to one another.
