Connect Groups
We have a number of connect groups that happen during the week.
These groups offer a wonderful opportunity to deepen your connection with God, wrestle with the questions of faith and experience the encouragement and support of others in a more intimate setting.
If you are interested in exploring spirituality and building meaningful connections beyond the Sunday services, we encourage you to join one of our connect groups.

The WellSpring Centre
WellSpring was brought into being in the 1990s by Ashburton Baptist Church and people from other faith communities.
WellSpring’s vision is “Deepening in God, living out love.”
The WellSpring Centre gives expression to this vision by offering prayer times, retreats, spiritual companioning, quiet days, short courses and a University of Divinity accredited formation program.
The Board of WellSpring is a mix of members appointed by the WellSpring membership and the ABC membership.
Prayer
Prayer is an important rhythm in the life of the Ashburton Baptist Community. We gather for prayer each Wednesday at Noon. We invite people to pray through our weekly newsletter. We create prayer quilts to give to people in the community.
